On March 27, the Tibet region of the Group’s Jinshun branch held the 2017 annual work conference on the theme of "A new journey and a grand future". This is the first time for Qi'an to hold a special meeting in Lhasa since the company entered Tibet five years ago. Over the past five years, the Tibet region has made great efforts to achieve the goal of the first five-year plan, and the output value increases year after year, exceeding 400 million in 2016, building an excellent brand of Qi’an on the snow-covered plateau. Shen Yan, vice general manager of the group and head of Tibet region, made a work report. Yin Weidong, chairman of the group made a special trip to deliver a speech at the meeting. Chairman of the Board pointed out that it was not easy to enter the Tibetan market, let along finding a root in the Tibet market; the market in Tibet has evident advantages. He hoped to further strengthen project management, brand building, safety production, real name system management of team, positive publicity of the corporate culture, strictly abide by the ethnic and religious policies, to make the company bigger and stronger, for the rule of law, and make our contributions to building Tibet by following the related laws, bringing wealth to the local people, and maintaining long-term construction of the region. Chairman Yin Weidong also expressed that the Group should continue to support the development of Tibet, and the Group’s company in the region should adopt advanced management, help and solve the difficulties encountered in the development of Tibet. Ma Chunfeng from the Group’s Chongqing area, and Song Chunjue, person in charge of the Jinshun branch of the company and others also attended the meeting. The Group’s Roche Pharmaceutical project employs air‑suspended air cushions to achieve non‑destructive construction.

In mid-June, the Roche Pharmaceuticals project, constructed by the Group’s Maosheng International Engineering Branch, successfully completed the indoor relocation of three 13-ton heavy-duty pieces of equipment within a high‑standard epoxy flooring area, utilizing an air‑suspension cushion‑lifting technique.

On June 2, the “Carrying Forward the Glory of Military Service, Ensuring the Well-being of Veteran Soldiers” Care Foundation was officially established at the Qidong Municipal Bureau of Veterans Affairs and the Municipal Charity Federation, under the leadership of Gong Shancong, Deputy General Manager of the Group.
