Recently, the Tibetan Satellite TV noon news gave a special report on accelerating the construction of Guru well-off demonstration village in Qian'an, Jiangsu Province, and interviewed Cai Haifeng, manager of Qian'an Project. Guru Village in Yadong County, Tibet, is situated on the border of the motherland, east of Bhutan, with an average altitude of over 4,500. It is perennially cold, hypoxic and dry. It is one of the well-off villages in the 13th Five-Year Plan border area of Tibet Autonomous Region. The group has undertaken the construction task of 72 light steel structure houses in this village, with a total investment of 80 million yuan. The project department came into operation at the end of last year, and has completed the foundation construction of the frame structure, and is entering the installation stage of light steel exterior wall and interior wall panel. In the face of harsh environment, tight construction period, heavy tasks and other difficulties, Qian'an people face difficulties and adopt a new assembled steel structure construction mode to ensure the completion of construction tasks on schedule, and help Guru village to build a well-off demonstration village. Recently, the China Construction Industry Association announced the results of the 2026 Engineering Construction Quality Management Team Achievement Competition. Two QC projects submitted by the Group—“Improving the First-Pass Acceptance Rate for One-Time Forming of Exterior Concrete Moldings” and “Enhancing the First-Pass Welding Acceptance Rate for Dissimilar Steels”—were awarded second and third prizes, respectively.
