Yabo Meishan Project wins 2024 ENR Global Best Project Award

Recently, the Yabo Meishan lithium hydroxide battery material project (construction undertaken by the Petrochemical Branch) participated in by our group company won the "Global Best Project Award in Power and Industrial Categories" for 2024. This award is an important award in the global engineering construction field, selected by Engineering News-Record (ENR), an authoritative academic journal in the global engineering construction field. It is known as the "Oscar" award in the engineering circle and represents the highest honor in the global engineering field. Winning this award is a high recognition of Jiangsu Qi'an's technological innovation, excellent management, and efficient team collaboration in the construction of the Yabo Meishan lithium hydroxide factory project. In late July, the Group emerged victorious from among numerous competing bidders, successfully securing the contract for the electromechanical installation works of a 12 GW per annum photovoltaic solar cell project, with a contract value exceeding RMB 60 million.

Deepening strategic cooperation to empower the photovoltaic sector | On the same day, multiple central state-owned enterprise new-energy teams visited the Group for inspection and exchange.

On July 17, teams from several central state-owned enterprises, including China Road & Bridge Corporation, CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Company, and Shanghai Electric New Energy, visited the Group one after another. They held in-depth discussions on topics such as bidding for overseas photovoltaic consortia and the development of domestic fish–solar complementary projects. Yin Weidong, Chairman of the Group, graciously received the delegations, while General Manager Zhang Jian, along with Deputy General Managers Song Hongliang and Cai Ting, also attended the meetings.
