As time flows and the years pass, the wheel of time adds a new ring. In the blink of an eye, we bid farewell to2024year, welcoming2025year. Here, I would like to extend New Year's greetings and heartfelt thanks to all Qi'an people, to the leaders at all levels who care for and support the development of Qi'an's cause, and to friends from all walks of life!

"Difficulties" and "hardships" may be2024the genuine feelings we share in the year. All Qi'an people bravely faced the challenging economic situation and delivered an extraordinary report card. Whether in construction output or new contract amounts, whether in quality and safety or project management, whether in risk mitigation or corporate culture, the banner of Jiangsu Qi'an has always flown in the cold wind, standing firm in the face of risks and challenges!

Behind every milestone, there is the resilient strength supported by Qi'an people; every effective risk mitigation is the result of Qi'an people's hard work; every project undertaken is the result of Qi'an people's tireless efforts. Many touching details, moving scenes, and the traces of time leave me with unforgettable memories. The support from leaders at all levels of local party and government and from all sectors of society is the source of our motivation; the solidarity and strong support from Qi'an colleagues give me warmth, comfort, confidence, and strength.

The rise and fall of enterprises are rooted in the fate of the country and are subject to changes in the situation. Whether it is sunny or rainy, whether it is a full moon or a new moon, the development process of individuals or enterprises cannot always go smoothly; that is the law of development. This requires us to face setbacks and obstacles with firm belief, continuously enrich ourselves, and make ourselves better; in the face of all challenges, we must strive to do our own things well.

"As heaven maintains vigor through movement, a gentleman should constantly strive for self-improvement." Looking ahead to2025year, the external environment may not be as desired, uncertainty will continue to increase, risk pressure will not decrease, and various unpredictable crises may occur at any time. We must have a clear understanding and be prepared for the cold. The new year will still be a year for Jiangsu Qi'an to "survive". We must be guided by Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, actively implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party and the requirements of the Central Economic Work Conference, adhere to the strategy of "turning crises into opportunities", strengthen our confidence in "overcoming difficulties to survive", and firmly believe in the hope of "reform to survive", working together in the direction of "mitigating risks, strengthening management, seeking reform, and striving for survival", making the worst plans, putting in the best efforts, and striving for long-term success, to achieve the high-quality completion of the "14th Five-Year Plan" goals and realize the sustainable and resilient development of Qi'an's great cause.

At the beginning of the new year, everything is renewed. I firmly believe that as long as all Qi'an people face the wind and rain without fear, work hand in hand, and bravely overcome difficulties, we will surely pass through obstacles, turn crises into opportunities, and achieve resilient development in an unprecedented era of change!

The Group’s Roche Pharmaceutical project employs air‑suspended air cushions to achieve non‑destructive construction.

In mid-June, the Roche Pharmaceuticals project, constructed by the Group’s Maosheng International Engineering Branch, successfully completed the indoor relocation of three 13-ton heavy-duty pieces of equipment within a high‑standard epoxy flooring area, utilizing an air‑suspension cushion‑lifting technique.

Carrying forward the glory of military service, we uphold our spirit of dedication to peace and security.

On June 2, the “Carrying Forward the Glory of Military Service, Ensuring the Well-being of Veteran Soldiers” Care Foundation was officially established at the Qidong Municipal Bureau of Veterans Affairs and the Municipal Charity Federation, under the leadership of Gong Shancong, Deputy General Manager of the Group. The foundation aims to “show care for veterans, alleviate their difficulties, safeguard their health and well-being, and spread warmth throughout society.”

On June 5, the Roche (Shanghai) Biopharmaceutical Production Base Project (Phase I) held a ceremony to celebrate reaching one million safe man-hours, and the Group was presented with a commemorative trophy.
