Nantong Group successfully hosted the 2nd Skills Competition
On April 28, the second skills competition was held in the project Department of Qian'an Building, a branch of Nantong Group Company. The chairman Yin Weidong participated in the event and delivered a warm speech. Eighteen employees from the branch and project Department of Nantong District participated in the competition.
The chairman pointed out that it is the best commemoration of the Labor Day to welcome the International Labor Day by means of skills competition. He wished all Qian'an employees a happy Labor Day in advance. The chairman hopes that all regions and branches of the group will further carry forward the glorious tradition of Qian'an heavy skill training in Jiangsu, attach great importance to the cultivation of front-line skilled workers under the new historical conditions, and take all possible positive measures to stimulate the growth of talents, cultivate Qian'an craftsmen, and help Qian'an cause achieve sustainable and high-quality development. There are three skills in this competition: brick wall masonry, seamless steel pipe steel plate splicing and welding, and ventilation engineering. Six contestants participated in each event. The judges of the group company, Nantong company and the project department shall strictly evaluate the final products of the contestants'on-site competitions.
Eventually, Yao Dechuan, Shi Xiongjie and Xue Jianyu of Jinyinhao Branch of Group One won the championship of masonry, welding and ventilation. The skilled martial arts competition focused on demonstrating the excellent professional quality and spiritual demeanor of Qian'an employees. Qidong TV, the local mainstream media, was informed of the activities and sent special reporters to the competition site for interviews and reports. (Nantong Company)

In late July, the Group emerged victorious from among numerous competing bidders, successfully securing the contract for the electromechanical installation works of a 12 GW per annum photovoltaic solar cell project, with a contract value exceeding RMB 60 million.

On July 17, teams from several central state-owned enterprises, including China Road & Bridge Corporation, CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Company, and Shanghai Electric New Energy, visited the Group one after another. They held in-depth discussions on topics such as bidding for overseas photovoltaic consortia and the development of domestic fish–solar complementary projects. Yin Weidong, Chairman of the Group, graciously received the delegations, while General Manager Zhang Jian, along with Deputy General Managers Song Hongliang and Cai Ting, also attended the meetings.
