Tangshan LNG Project: Improving Process Flow and Improving Process Quality
At the beginning of May, the project of Tangshan 16,000 m_LNG storage tank project, which was built by the Group Limengdao Multicomponent Company, came to the end of construction, and the project department successfully achieved the goal of 100% seam leakage-free. Before the construction of the branch project, the welding process of the external tank wall was perfected by the project department: the welder used the welding rod to fill the whole barrel, and now controls the use of more than 60 welding rods at a time to prevent the welder from running out in the morning and using the cold welding rod in the afternoon. At the same time, the welder's off-duty electrode barrel is always in the electrodes baking room. The original welding process is: group pair spot welding welding, now refined as: cleaning group pair spot welding steel wheel grinding cleaning welding. Good results have been achieved in practice. Taking welder Shen Jianhua as an example, the fillet welding and upside-up welding of 06Ni9 plate for external tank wall lining are 252m and 6mm respectively. After 55kPa vacuum leak test, no leak point has been found, and the project department timely awards it. Vacuum leak test of weld seam from the original: weld cleaning blowing agent vacuum box leak detection, now refined as: welding seam cleaning steel wheel rust foaming agent test plate foaming blowing agent vacuum box leak detection, each weld vacuum leak test three times (the first self-inspection, the second general package inspection, the third supervision side inspection), to ensure that there is no leakage spot in the weld. The improvement of construction technology effectively compensates for the short board with uneven technical staff level, eliminates the related hidden dangers in time, and lays a solid foundation for the high-quality completion of the LNG tank wall lining sub-project.
