On October 19, Yang Zhongjian, Secretary of the Qidong Municipal Party Committee, led Guo Jian, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, Huang Chen, Deputy Mayor, and relevant personnel of the Municipal Party Committee Office and Government Office to visit the Sichuan Yabao lithium hydroxide lithium battery material project with an annual output of 50,000 tons undertaken by the group company for inspection and guidance. Yin Weidong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Group Company, and Ma Chunfeng, head of Chongqing Region, accompanied the investigation.

 

Secretary Yang and his entourage listened carefully to the work reports made by Lu Huabing and Shi Binbin, the project leaders, and went deep into the construction site to understand the implementation situation, and fully affirmed the safe and civilized construction, quality control, personnel management, progress control, and hoisting of large equipment in place of the project, especially the realization of 13 million man-hours of safe production without accidents. Secretary Yang encouraged Jiangsu Qi'an to "dare" first, have the courage to open up, and undertake more similar high-quality projects; At the same time, we will give full play to Qi'an's professional, technical and brand advantages, further specialize, refine and strengthen, and make more contributions to the high-quality development of Qidong's construction industry. Recently, the China Construction Industry Association announced the results of the 2026 Engineering Construction Quality Management Team Achievement Competition. Two QC projects submitted by the Group—“Improving the First-Pass Acceptance Rate for One-Time Forming of Exterior Concrete Moldings” and “Enhancing the First-Pass Welding Acceptance Rate for Dissimilar Steels”—were awarded second and third prizes, respectively.
