10  On the 8th of the month, Zhang Hua, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Zhejiang Second Construction Group, led a core management team to visit our group for an exchange and study session. Yin Weidong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of our group, General Manager Zhang Jian, Deputy General Manager Xu Hao, and others attended the event.

At the outset of the symposium, Chairman Yin Weidong provided an overview of the Group’s recent achievements, its business portfolio, and its strategic roadmap, while also analyzing the current operating challenges and transformation opportunities facing the construction industry in light of broader industry trends. Chairman Zhang Hua then outlined Zhejiang Second Construction Group’s development trajectory, operational scale, and distinctive business segments, sharing the company’s practical experience in market expansion and quality‑driven growth.

During the Q&A session, both sides focused on key management areas—including innovation in corporate systems and mechanisms, expansion into new market segments, optimization of staffing levels, development of talent pipelines, end-to-end project lifecycle management, implementation of excellence‑driven and safety‑focused initiatives, refined cost control, and adjustments to the mix of business segments—exchanging best practices and engaging in in-depth discussions on solutions to common industry challenges. The dialogue was characterized by a pragmatic and constructive atmosphere.

In his concluding remarks, Chairman Yin Weidong stated that this exchange was candid and pragmatic, yielding mutual insights; it served both as a sharing of experiences and as a stimulating intellectual dialogue. With complementary business scopes and distinct development trajectories, the two parties enjoy a solid foundation for mutual learning. He expressed the hope that, taking this symposium as a starting point, they will continue to deepen communication and collaboration, truly leveraging each other’s strengths while addressing their respective weaknesses, achieving two-way empowerment, and jointly exploring new initiatives and models for high-quality corporate development.

Benchmarking against global standards! The Jotun Zhangjiagang project has successfully passed the safety audit conducted by its Norwegian headquarters.

In mid-September, a foreign‑owned expert audit team from Jotun’s Norwegian headquarters conducted a three‑day, headquarter‑level specialized safety audit on the Jotun Zhangjiagang project site undertaken by the Group.


The Roche (Shanghai) project of the Group has successfully achieved 2 million safe man-hours.

On September 17, the Roche (Shanghai) Biopharmaceutical Production Base project, undertaken by the Group, successfully reached the milestone of 2 million safe man-hours.


The Group dispatched personnel to attend the training on building trustworthy quality teams in chemical engineering construction.

On September 16–17, the China Chemical Construction Enterprises Association held a training course on building “Quality‑Trusted Work Teams” in Chengdu, with representatives from the Group in attendance. The session featured a live lecture by Shi Jie, a senior expert of the Association.
