Qi'an Maosheng: Building AstraZeneca's Global Best Project

Mao Sheng International Engineering Branch is a flagship unit of Jiangsu Qian'an, and it has become a perennial leader in the foreign-invested sector, renowned throughout the industry for its outstanding professional expertise. Despite the currently challenging market conditions, Mao Sheng Branch continues to achieve remarkable success, securing numerous foreign-invested projects. This year, the team participated in AstraZeneca's inhalation aerosol project in Qingdao. AstraZeneca is a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the research, development, manufacturing, and sale of prescription drugs, with operations spanning over 100 countries worldwide. The Mao Sheng team was primarily responsible for mechanical and electrical installation, fire protection engineering, process engineering, cleanroom construction, epoxy flooring, and other critical tasks, with the contract value nearing 180 million yuan. As a typical foreign-invested project, AstraZeneca has exceptionally high and stringent requirements for safety, quality, and schedule. Stepping into the project site, one is immediately struck by the impressive scene of civilized construction—floors are impeccably clean and dust-free, materials are neatly arranged, comprehensive protective measures are rigorously in place, and every work process unfolds smoothly and efficiently. At the peak of construction, the site hosted over 400 workers, placing immense demands on project management and coordination, calling for seamless, collaborative efforts across all teams. The Maosheng team, with its world-class expertise and unwavering professionalism, has earned high praise from AstraZeneca’s management—from the meticulous BM design phase and factory-based prefabrication to the highly focused, lean construction approach. In September of this year, Pran, Global Engineering Director at AstraZeneca, made a special trip to Qingdao to inspect the project firsthand. He was thoroughly impressed, declaring it "the finest and most outstanding project" within AstraZeneca’s global portfolio! Speaking during an interview with the Group’s News Highlights team, Jie Ji, Project Manager of the general contractor and managing company, emphasized that both the general contractor and the client hold the Qian’an Maosheng team in great esteem. He confidently predicted that the two sides will undoubtedly explore even more opportunities for collaboration in the future.
