Conduct special pre-holiday inspections to fortify the safety defenses for the dual holidays.
At the end of September, the Group’s Safety Equipment Department dispatched teams to regions including Nantong, Suzhou, and Nanjing to conduct a comprehensive safety inspection focusing on large-scale machinery ahead of the holiday period. The inspection specifically targeted tower cranes, construction elevators, suspended platforms, material hoists, unloading platforms, scaffolding, and other critical areas, promptly identifying multiple potential safety hazards. Safety Director Zhang Yue emphasized that each project must assign clear responsibilities and set specific deadlines for addressing these identified risks. Meanwhile, regional offices and branch companies are required to provide full oversight throughout the entire remediation process, closely monitoring both progress and quality to ensure all safety issues are resolved before the holiday. This proactive approach aims to prevent any safety incidents and maintain a safe and secure working environment.
Before the holidays, Suzhou Company formed a special inspection team to focus on critical areas and potential risks at construction sites, conducting thorough safety checks. The team visited projects such as Quik, Huayu, Johnson & Johnson, and Genxi within the region, with a particular emphasis on high-risk areas like edge protection, opening sealing, and fall-protection measures for elevated work. Regional Manager Shi Saissai urged each project team to establish comprehensive personnel on-duty systems, ensuring constant communication channels remain open. She also stressed that construction activities and on-duty staff during the holiday period must possess adequate safety knowledge and skills to handle emergencies effectively. At the same time, she emphasized the importance of firmly rejecting any sense of侥幸 (lucky chance) or complacency, continuously raising safety awareness, fully implementing the enterprise-wide safety responsibility system, and rigorously reinforcing the safety defense mechanism—ensuring a stable and secure environment for production during the upcoming dual holidays.
