Group Melaleuca project achieves 300000 safe working hours
On September 18, the Melaleuca China headquarters park project participated by the group company held the main structure completion and 300000 safe working hours celebration. The project is located in Fengpu Industrial Park, Fengxian, Shanghai, with a construction area of 64000 square meters. Jiangsu Kai'an is responsible for the mechanical and electrical installation of the logistics sorting center, dangerous goods warehouse, corridor and other functional areas of the project, as well as the it, security, pure water soft water and compressed air systems of the whole plant. Since entering the site in May, the project department has strictly controlled all aspects of production safety, maintained "zero accident and zero industrial injury", and established a good image of Jiangsu Kai'an on site. At the ceremony, four workers of the project department were rated as excellent employees and one safety officer was rated as excellent safety management personnel. Conduct special pre-holiday inspections to fortify the safety defenses for the dual holidays.
At the end of September, the Group's Safety Equipment Department dispatched teams to regions including Nantong, Suzhou, and Nanjing to conduct a comprehensive safety inspection focusing on large-scale machinery ahead of the holiday period. The inspection specifically targeted tower cranes, construction elevators, suspended platforms, material hoists, unloading platforms, scaffolding, and other critical areas, promptly identifying multiple potential safety hazards. Safety Director Zhang Yue emphasized that each project must assign clear responsibilities and set specific deadlines for addressing the identified risks. Meanwhile, the relevant regional offices and branch companies are required to provide full oversight throughout the entire remediation process, closely monitoring both progress and quality to ensure all identified hazards are thoroughly addressed before the holiday. This proactive approach aims to prevent any safety incidents and safeguard a safe and productive working environment.
