On the afternoon of March 16, the project Department of Qidong Experimental Primary School Xincheng campus organized a fire fighting drill. The wooden fire occurred on site by simulating the operation error of electric welders. After the accident, the on-site operators reported it to the project department at the first time. The project manager immediately started fire emergency rescue, and the fire was quickly controlled. The drill process was interspersed with the teaching and correction of the use of fire extinguishers. The person in charge of safety of the project department said that the drill further improved the fire safety awareness of front-line workers, eliminated various potential safety hazards in the bud, took effective measures to prevent all safety accidents, truly achieved "prevention in the first place" and ensured the realization of the goal of safe and accident free construction site. In mid-May, the hotel renovation project for the Shanghai Wangyuan Building, undertaken by the Group, entered its final, critical phase of intensive completion. At present, all core construction tasks— including the main interior finishing works and the installation and commissioning of various mechanical and electrical systems—have been successfully completed. The project’s focus has now fully shifted to meticulous fine‑tuning, integrated system testing and commissioning, and comprehensive on‑site cleanup and final finishing.
