Zijin Villa in Nanjing is an important reception hotel in Jiangsu Province. The 62-year-old Cui Yongping Baodao is not old, and is participating in the new renovation project of No. 1 Building of Shanzhuang. The No. 1 building is the most prominent building in Zijin Villa. It has received several party and state leaders. Because Cui Yongping was in charge of the installation work in that year and was familiar with the pipelines here. Now we need to reform, naturally we can not do without his participation.
Cui Yongping is a senior architect and the earliest worker to help Xinjiang in Qidong.
On May 6, 1979, Cui Yongping, as the first batch of workers in Qidong, flew to Xinjiang by train. "Because this day is the first summer day and my first trip, I remember it very clearly." Cui Yongping recalled that he and his colleagues took a four-day, four-night train to Xinjiang. In those days, there were too many people going to Xinjiang. The railway department has set up a kind of "box car" specially for migrant workers. This modified train, with only seats, stops and goes all the way to Xinjiang for ten days and a half months. The hardship of traveling in Xinjiang is evident.
In Cui Yongping's opinion, the traveling hardship is not worth mentioning. The life of the aid workers was very hard. The whole city of Karamay, the entire construction site, can not find a grain of rice, noon can eat a nest, even if happiness. All the necessities of life, including rice, were transported from Jiangsu and from home to Keshi.
Cui Yongping recalled. At that time, the whole city of Karamay was very backward. The whole city was full of low-rise earthen houses. There was only a three-storey "Friendship New Town", which was said to have been built with the help of the eldest brother of the Soviet Union. Therefore, the task of Jiangsu's aid construction is quite arduous.
Cui Yongping is a skilled craftsman and belongs to the Hydropower Team under the Capital Construction Bureau of Qidong County, which later established the Qidong County Installation Company together with the Youan Team and the Boiler Installation Team. Therefore, Cui Yongping is a veteran worker of the installation company.
Cui Yongping is very capable and outstanding in technology. He served as the construction team leader in the first year and was promoted to be a construction worker in the second year. Cui Yongping proudly said that the Qidong construction team is not afraid of hardship and tiredness. It is especially capable of fighting and has a fast construction speed. It will build a floor in three or four days. This feat stirred up the whole city of Keshi.
Cui Yongping was selected as a model worker by Xinjiang Karamay Petroleum Administration because of his strong professional ability and hard work during the construction of Xinjiang. This is a small number of construction workers, which greatly encourages the Qidong aid team.

On June 2, the “Carrying Forward the Glory of Military Service, Ensuring the Well-being of Veteran Soldiers” Care Foundation was officially established at the Qidong Municipal Bureau of Veterans Affairs and the Municipal Charity Federation, under the leadership of Gong Shancong, Deputy General Manager of the Group. The foundation aims to “show care for veterans, alleviate their difficulties, safeguard their health and well-being, and spread warmth throughout society.”
