Lei Feng's spirit is eternal and vivid expression of socialist core values. In his important speech, the General Secretary profoundly expounded the rich connotation, value, duty, mission and practical requirements of Lei Feng's spirit in the new era, and pointed out a new direction for the further development of Lei Feng's activities in the new era.
The connotation of Lei Feng's spirit can be summed up in two words: "up" and "good". Lei Feng's spirit embodies a "upward" attitude of life: to "up" in work, to carry forward the dedication to duty; to "up" in study, to carry forward the spirit of "nail" in hard study; and to "up" in life, to carry forward the spirit of hard struggle and entrepreneurship. Lei Feng's spirit embodies a kind of value pursuit of "benevolence": to "benevolence" in ideals and beliefs, to carry forward the patriotic spirit of "responsibility of the man"; to "benevolence" in value orientation, to carry forward the dedication spirit of "love without bounds"; to "benevolence" in interpersonal relations and to carry forward the spirit of cooperation to help others.
Learning from Lei Feng's good example, the power of the example is infinite, and the light of the example is infinite. The heart of sincerity lasts for a long time. Whoever shines will make it shine. Promoting, learning and practicing Lei Feng's spirit should be the pursuit of every young person in Qi'an. The majority of young people in Qi'an should work hard on "true learning, true understanding, true application", form a general atmosphere of "everyone can learn, everywhere can do, always can do", and play the strongest voice of the era of "learning Lei Feng".
