——On management tools

The martial arts dreams of Jin Yong, Gu Long, Liang Yusheng and other martial arts people have affected our whole generation. They are dreamers and shape Jianghu martial arts dreams for everyone who has read their works. When I was a child, I used to draw the so-called martial arts moves with a bamboo pole and the so-called internal mental skill with a paintbrush, in order to share the feelings of martial arts and dream of becoming the great master of the so-called Jianghu Xia. After graduation, I worked hard for work and life. Looking back on that time, I found it ridiculous. The martial arts dream of that year was an illusion after all. The Jianghu in my heart is no longer, but in reality, where there are people, there will be Jianghu, and Jianghu is everywhere. To settle down in the Jianghu, you have to learn moves, understand mind skills, have clear ideas and flexibly match various skills, so as to overcome difficulties and achieve brilliance all the way. Years of work experience has made me understand that thinking determines the way out. "If you want to do well, you must first sharpen your tools". Mastering appropriate management tools, exercising your thinking and mental skills will get twice the result with half the effort no matter what you do.

I remember just graduated to work in the company, engaged in the comprehensive management of the office, involving personnel, administration, production data statistics and many other contents. At that time, I went to work to "fight the fire" every day. I was so busy that I couldn't get my feet on the ground. I was in a mess and exhausted; Work will never meet the requirements of the boss, either criticized or reworked. By chance of an external audit, I came into contact with the management tool of PDCA cycle. Through their own search and learning, they gradually understand the essence. PDCA cycle is a tool to turn tasks into methods and a method to continuously improve work. After each work task is assigned, first formulate objectives according to the task, investigate the current situation, find out the problems, formulate measures and work plans for the main problems; Secondly, implement measures and plans; Then check the results and test the effect; Finally, the completed work summary is solidified to realize standardization. Every time we use this cycle to deal with problems, after solving some problems, new problems appear. Then we carry out the next cycle and solidify and improve after continuous summary and improvement. After consciously using PDCA to deal with all kinds of work again and again, this tool has slowly transformed into my subconscious thinking habit. When my thinking is through, my work is smooth.

With the passage of time, dealing with simple and complicated transactional work is no longer a difficult problem for me, and my work efficiency has been recognized by the leaders. But at the same time, the leaders put forward new work requirements for me. The work should not float on the surface, but be deep and detailed, and improve the standards. The new job requirements made me look like a circle. I didn't do all the work well. There was no depth to dig. I couldn't understand it at that time. During a lean team training survey, I came into contact with the concept of "5w2h" management tool. 5w2h is a way of thinking and checking work. When analyzing specific problems in work, 5w2h analysis method should put forward problems from seven aspects: why, what, where, when, who, how and how many. At first, I thought this tool was ridiculous and naive. Isn't this the narrative writing in primary school. But after real learning, I found that it seems simple, but there is a mystery behind it, and I will benefit immensely after understanding it. If you want to work deeply, you have to ask more questions. How to ask questions, how to ask questions, and from which aspect, is actually a knowledge and an idea. After using "5w2h questioning technology", ask questions systematically, step by step and in a direction from the above seven aspects. Sometimes one aspect can't be asked anymore. You can change your thinking and continue to ask questions in other aspects until you find the root of the problem, and then conceive new working methods to further improve your work. After skilled use of this method, combined with PDCA cycle, the two tools complement each other and complement each other.

There are many management tools. Choose the appropriate management tools, learn and practice them, and master them, so as to sublimate what you feel and realize and achieve yourself. Find mental skills, practice moves, forge your body, understand mental skills, create moves and seek breakthroughs. Real life is like your Jianghu. Find tools, refine ideas and find a way out.
